As a fast-paced and growing startup, Friendspire ran into time-consuming issues faster than they could solve them. Friendspire saw success in pulling new users to their community-based app but could not get people to come back for the service. There was an invincible gap between how Friendspire saw the value of their service, and how people using the service perceived it. The problem was all about locating that gap and bridging the tech product with the people who use it. A process of managing hard quantitative data, to qualitative findings and strategies.
Outcome
A Growth Audit designed to know why users behave as they do. Drawing from our expertise as a Mixpanel partner and our proprietary market analysis tool Hercule.ai, we had an instrument for narrowing down the exact steps of the user journey and thereby setting out a direction for future marketing strategies as well as general product optimization. Combined with a sound understanding of where to prioritize as a startup, PLYO Lab set out a strategy meant for synthesizing focus, efforts, time, and resources. A schedule of product function- and design experiments with the end of Friendspire’s user funnel, led to a better understanding of how to keep people coming back.

Despite Uniqkeys massive expansions to global markets and new heights of acquisition, the company felt that they lacked something reliable and scalable in their marketing efforts. As the company was growing well enough, Uniqkey didn’t see the unrealized potential in testing digital ads in a Growth framework. The main challenge for Uniqkey was to implement a whole new fundamental approach and mindset towards marketing.
Outcome
A cooperative effort towards implementing a Growth mindset with Uniqkey, instead of for Uniqkey. With initial analytical foundations of personas and customer profiles, PLYO Lab considered the surrounding environment and suggested a systematic approach to growing acquisition through marketing. With data-driven frameworks for Growth, Uniqkey could quickly test new advertisement and acquisition methods through experimentation. The framework improved the grounds for which future marketing strategies should lay on.
